Measurement Repair Services
Alpret's Measurement Repair Workshop occupies 100m2. Incoming repairs are racked and labelled prior to disassembly, cleaning and testing. The facility is set up to serve Emerson's range of Rosemount Transmitters and Analysers as well as Coriolis flow, and Radar level equipment.
Calibration
The company is a major supplier of pressure and temperature instruments and operates a quick service and repair (QSR) unit, enabling rapid delivery and calibration of quantities of new instruments to project and plant deadlines.
Fisher Approved Service Centre for Control Valve Repair Services
Until 1999 Alpret was the leading manufacturer of control valves in the Republic. When factory automation in the first world rendered local manufacturing cost structures uncompetitive, our factory was transformed into a well-equipped valve repair workshop. Today it forms the foundation of Alpret's Fisher Control Valve business, providing repairs, refurbishment and testing facilities.
Alpret's Fisher Approved Service Centre can repair, rebuild, reconfigure or remanufacture Fisher valves using quality OEM parts. It is also possible to customize new or serviceable used valves to meet revised specs for revised applications.
On-line diagnostics
Removing a valve usually entails production penalties for the plant. Alpret Control Specialists provides a full range of customer site services to allow maintenance and repair with a minimum of process interruption. Alpret Control Specialists has the specialized equipment and skills to perform on-line diagnostic testing to identify and evaluate problem areas. Some process plants are beginning to take full advantage of shutdown management techniques. We are able to assist by helping evaluate control valve maintenance and repair requirements prior to routine shutdown. This allows shorter shutdowns by pre-acquiring critical parts.
